RedPeak Over the Years

RedPeak Roots: Building the Foundation

RedPeak officially formed in October 2001, quickly entering property ownership with early acquisitions like Heritage Creek and Timber Creek. The company soon expanded into major urban redevelopments, securing Seasons of Cherry Creek and kickstarting the complex $62M historic transformation of Downtown Denver's Security Life Building.

Urban Vision: Revitalizing Denver’s Skyline

RedPeak accelerated its growth by completing the ambitious $62M historic transformation of Downtown Denver's Security Life Building in 2006, pioneering an innovative online auction for its penthouse units. During this period, the company also expanded Seasons of Cherry Creek with the addition of the "C Building" in 2008 while modernizing site operations and security across the portfolio.

2000-2005

2005 – 2010

Our Story

RedPeak Over the Years

October 2001

Company Founded: RedPeak is officially formed, kicking off a quarter-century of real estate development and management.

April 2003

First Property: Acquired 18 months after formation. This marked RedPeak's official entry into property ownership.

Mid-2003

Second Property: Purchased fairly quickly after Heritage Creek. RedPeak still proudly owns and operates this property today.

2004 – 2006:

2004 Acquisition: Purchased from a Greeley contractor after a failed "W" hotel conversion following the 2001 Dot Com crash. The building was empty and 80% demolished.
Complex Financing: RedPeak had to navigate and buy out two separate ground leases to secure long-term financing.
Asbestos Hurdles: Discovery of unexpected asbestos added an extra $3 million in abatement costs.
February 2006 Opening: The first residents moved in following a $62 million total transformation of the historic 1960s office building (once Denver's tallest).
Groundbreaking Auction: RedPeak utilized an innovative online auction process for the penthouse units.
2019 Sale: Later sold for $131 million.

2012

Thoughtful Design:

Purchased an entire city block from the Catholic Archdiocese. Though zoned for 12 stories, RedPeak opted for a 4–5 story build to match the neighborhood fabric.

Aesthetic Triumph:

Designed with completely different facades around the block to give the illusion of multiple buildings built over a long period.

Financial Lifecycle:

Completed for roughly $60 million and later sold for $99 million.
